Case study

Nature’s Intelligence Kinesiology

She knew her work deeply. The business challenge was helping other people understand its value.

Li-Anne has more than 20 years of experience and a complex, experiential approach to kinesiology. She was clear about her work. But much of its value became apparent only after someone spoke with her or experienced a session.

That created a business problem. Prospective clients needed Li-Anne herself to explain the work before they understood how she might help them. Friends, colleagues and existing clients also had no simple way to understand or communicate who her work was for.

I have trouble explaining a complex subject simply without oversimplifying it. I can usually tailor the conversation one-to-one with a prospective client based on their needs, but it’s much harder with a general audience.

The work

We worked on the business behind the message.

  • the problems that should trigger someone to think of her
  • who is most likely to benefit from her work
  • how clients experience her approach
  • what distinguishes the way she works
  • how to communicate the value without exaggeration or overpromising

The constant clarification questions, pressing me more and more beyond what I wrote over time, were uncomfortable, but resulted in a page that clients could verify was part of their experience.

The transformation

From expertise that depended heavily on personal explanation, to a business with a clearer way for people to understand, evaluate and refer the work.

Nature’s Intelligence Kinesiology now has:

  • clearer positioning around the problems Li-Anne helps solve
  • language prospective clients understand before speaking with her
  • a clearer path from interest to enquiry
  • something existing clients and contacts can share when referring others
  • a stronger foundation for future outreach and lead generation

The landing page is one expression of that work. The larger outcome is a business that no longer relies solely on Li-Anne being present to explain why her work matters.

It pretty clearly outlines my approach and the way I like to represent the work, as sincere and not selling or overpromising.

Her advice to another experienced practitioner?

Get prepared to be a little uncomfortable with the process, but ultimately you feel very heard, and you and your work will shine through.
